These terms of use relate to products sold under the designer names “Adorible Digital Designs” and “Louise Franks Designs”. Using the graphics implies that you have read and understood the terms of use and understand that the designer (Louise Franks) retains copyright and ownership of the original graphics. It is difficult to write terms of use which cover every possible use, so please do ask if your use is not covered here.
Personal Use and Scrap For Others
This information relates to products marked as “PU” and/or “S4O”.
In a nutshell, you can NOT make any money from anything you create with these graphics.
You MAY use the graphics as part of your personal scrapbooking projects, invitation design and similar crafting projects, so long as you do not make money from them in any way.
You may give creations made using the graphics as gifts, but you MUST supply the image in a flattened file (ie, no layers)
You MAY print any of the items in order to produce paper scrapbooking layouts
You MAY make changes such as, but not limited to, recolouring and resizing the graphics in the completion of your project.
You MAY adapt the image to create something significantly different from the original design, but you must credit the original work (see below for details on how to credit my work)
You MUST credit the artist when publishing your work to galleries and publications, whether online or in print (see below for details on how to credit my work)
You MAY use the graphics to produce “freebies” which you offer from your blog or website (or other communication method), but this is limited to 2 items unless you have specific permission from me. You must also give credit for my work (see below for details on how to credit my work) and send me a link to the file so that I can download it myself.
You MAY use the graphics to create your own blog or web design for your personal blog or website, or a small not-for-profit organisation
You MAY NOT claim any of my work as your own
You MAY NOT use any Personal Use items to make money
You MAY NOT distribute (or otherwise make available, including by storage on shared networks) my products in their unaltered form. Nor may you make them available in altered form unless they have been used for their intended purpose and supplied in a flattened state.
You may not use any item to create a logo

In a nutshell, you CAN make money from anything you create with these graphics BUT the items must be custom made for ONE client only.
You MAY use the graphics as part of your professional scrapbooking projects, invitation design and similar crafting projects, so long as your projects are for custom work only. You may not create items which may be sold in multiple quantities. All graphics must be supplied flattened.
You MAY use the graphics to produce custom blog designs and you need not purchase a new kit each time. However, you MUST give credit for my work (see below for details on how to credit my work). All graphics must be supplied flattened.

All graphics must be supplied flattened. if your project is not covered in this list please contact me before purchase.
You MAY use the graphics to produce pre-made blog designs. However, you MUST give credit for my work (see below for details on how to credit my work). All graphics must be supplied flattened. If you purchase the Limited Pro-U version of the kit for a custom client and then decide to make premade designs, then you WILL need to purchase the extended professional use version – on one occasion only.

This information relates to products marked as “Designer Tools”. These tools have been specifically created for digital scrapbooking kit designers to use in the creation of other digital scrapbooking kits and elements. For more info on my terms for professional use please go here.
You MAY use the graphics to create digital scrapbooking kits (or any item of a digiscrapping kit) so long as items created from the graphics do not compose more than 20% of the total kit size. You must also credit my work in your zip (or other download) file (see below for details on how to credit my work)
You MAY use the graphics to create paper scrapbooking kits (or other printables) so long as items created from the graphics do not compose more than 20% of the total kit size and the print run does not exceed 1,000 units. You must also credit my work on your packaging (see below for details on how to credit my work)

Blogwear
This information relates to products marked as “Blogwear”. These tools include installation instructions for Blogger, but may be installed on many other blogging platforms. It is your responsibility to check suitability before purchase.
You MAY install the graphics on more than one personal blog, so long as you personally own all of the blogs (and continue to own them)
You MAY install the graphics on ONE not-for-profit blog or ONE commercial blog, only if you are a small organization with less than 5 employees. For larger organisations you should contact me before purchasing.
You MAY alter the graphics by resizing them and adding titles and text etc, but you must preserve the quality and integrity of the graphics. This means that poor recolouring and cropping is not acceptable.
You MAY use the graphics only for their intended purpose – no cropping or resizing to form avatars, signatures and other graphics.
You MAY NOT use the graphics for any illegal or immoral purpose
You MAY NOT distribute these graphics or otherwise make them available to anyone else (knowingly or unknowingly) via shared drives etc.
You MUST be aware that you install the graphics at your own risk. You should back up your blog before you start and must be aware that some scripts and modifications which you add to your blog may prevent the graphics from displaying properly.
You MUST read your blogging platform’s relevant help files/installation instructions carefully before installing your graphics. I can not be held responsible for errors which you occur during your installation.

How to credit my work
You should include my business name (Louise Franks Designs), the name of the kit and a link to purchase the kit (at the very least a link to the homepage of this blog).
