I have created this background in order to try out my new way of offering the backgrounds. You can now choose whether to download the Simple template version for the newer template styles, or the Minima template style for the older template styles. The only difference is a slight change in the code to make it display correctly in Simple.
Please do let me know if you got it to install ok or if you hae any suggestions. I have tried to make it easy, but in order to preserve the functionality of the Template Designer, the installation process is a little more long-winded. This installation method also makes it much easier to remove my template when you’ve had enough of it :)
Once I know that this works ok for you I’ll start creating some more backgrounds.

Important!
Works best if main background width set to 1000px
I recommend you convert to Simple or Minima template before installing this

I tried placing the code in the HTML gadget for one of my blogs. It worked great. I use Template Designer now so I wasn’t sure what would happen;.

Both codes will work in the template designer but for best results you need to use the correct code in there. Thanks for letting me know it worked….at least I know I wasn’t just lucky. It’s always good to know how it works for other people :)
