Today I am releasing some special freebies for you because I’m trying to distract myself from the terrible pain that is going on in my mouth (see my personal blog for horrific details LOL). Normally I sell anything that I’ve spent a LONG time creating, but today I am giving it to you for free. If you’d like to return the favour with a small prayer to ease my suffering then I wouldn’t complain :)
I’m calling this “build a blog” because I have all the elements of a blog design here and you can take as much or as little as you’d like. If you use any of it please leave a link so I can come check it out. If I receive positive feedback on this post I might release my future freebies like this. It’s up to you to let me know what you think. Remember you can request freebies and tutorials. Despite having nearly a thousand followers, I’ve only received two suggestions. I want to make my time count, so I want to release only what you need. So, I’d be really happy if you could let me know.
As with all of my freebies, downloading and using my graphics implies that you have read, understood and agree to my terms of use

I LOVE this design . . . and I am sorry for your pain . . . hopefully, as I write this, you are getting ready to settle down for the night and have taken pain killers that work.
Not sure where I am going to use it . . but will let you know and send you the link . . . it touches my “retired teacher” side.

Ha! You don’t have to use it, but you’re more than welcome to. If this “build a blog” format goes down well I’ll post them like this in the future.
Got pain killers but can’t say they’re really helping much yet :(

I love this kit because of the cheerful colour scheme and all the cluster-y elements. Definitely one of my favourites of all time!
I’ve had loads of downloads for the second background, so seems like it’s been a big hit :)

Thanks so much Katie – it’s no better yet but at least it hasn’t got any worse. Will answer your email when I get 10 minutes to sit down pain free. It’s hard concentrating on anything for more then 2 minutes at a time.

Thanks for the freebies. I’m very new to the design of the blog. I love the header (with photo flame) of the freebies (the above), yet, may I check with you, how am I save the photo in the header?
I’m so admire that you able to come out so pretty design in the midst of your pain. Hope you have speed recover. Take good Care. thanks

You’re welcome Grace and thanks for your sweet comment.
To add a photo to the header, open the header file in a graphics package (you can get paint.net for free on the internet). Then open your first photo and copy it. Go back to the header and paste in the image. You will need to drag the image layer so that it falls behind the header image that you downloaded. Do this for every photo. Add your blog name (there is a text function in paint.net too) and then save. Good luck!

Wow.. thanks for the fast response ! As my current blog design is using your free full template in your blog. Basically I just complete the codes and paste it in my blog design. So if I wan to change the template (as the above), means i have to delete the current template and replace it one by one (means replace the header, background, post divider) ?
I will try to do the header with photo by using the paint.net.
Thanks again for great help. I’m really touch !

Depending which template you are already using you should be able to simply change the link to the header and post divider etc in your template code. I’ve tried to make this pretty simple – though nothing is easier than just replacing the whole template. Since I started offering the templates I’ve hardly had any comments so I’m thinking they weren’t very popular, which is why I’ve stopped doing them that way.

I have downloaded the backgroun with the alphabet on the top section . . it “spoke” to the teacher in me.
Now, my quetion is . . . could you make a header that would allow me to put my blog titlke in it, since I don’t have pictures in my title.
Also, I have saved the pictures/widgets/gadgets for the remainder of the blog. I am going to have to read up on your blog on how tyo instal them.

I’ll have a look into the header Paula :)
There should already be some tutorials on installing things but bear in mind they are written for the minima template. You may need to switch templates. The widget labels can be installed as a photo in your sidebar – just drag them to the widget space above where you need them. Hope that makes sense!

That’s how I thought I should usse the sidebar headers. I sure love your designs . . so bright and lively.

I’ve added a small text base Facebook share thingy to the bottom of each post, which should hopefully do for now, but I’ll try and find something better. I totally forgot to add that back when I switched sites. It’s one of those rare things which Blogger makes easier!

Thanks so much for your kind comment Elizabeth! I don’t tend to make vintage designs, but I do occasionally go a little outside of my box LOL. I’ll have a look into it – I did start working on a vintage kit not too long ago, maybe it’s time to finish it :)

Louis, I do hope you’re feeling better a month after original post. I found info on here before about reducing the space between gadgets but I can’t seem to find it. If you see this and can pointme in the right direction, it would be appreciated! GREAT SITE!!!!
